Quick, super effective and not very expensive
The First Need Deluxe manufactured by General Ecology works very effectively. Not one single bacteria was found after being filtered. Also in its flow rate the device is convincing. No other system could filter water with such ease (user friendly) and was very comfortable in its grip and pump mechanism when held in your hand. The device did not require much effort. It is also very practical when used in conjunction with a popular Sigg or Nalgene bottle that fits directly onto the purifier.
Surprisingly, the First Need Deluxe is the only system that works with a gravity feed assist mechanism which allows you to filter water effortlessly. The system comes complete with its own gravity feed equipment. The manufacturer states using it this way 1000 pints can be filtered. The only maintenance required is the that the pre-filter may require cleaning by hand. The General Ecology First Need system is practical in its use, effectiveness and affordability.
